FREE information leaflet and map!

Find out how where to find the parish boundary markers as you walk the West Dorset Coast Path, discovering the unique hand made markers as you walk from parish to parish. You can also scan the QR code on the map whilst walking to load a Google Map of the marker locations.

If you are a local business, tourist attraction, holiday accommodation or information centre, please contact us for a supply of the information maps to share with your customers at dorset.coast@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.

Have your say on Christchurch Bay & Harbour Strategy online event – 27 June

BCP Council and New Forest District Council are now consulting on the 5th phase of the Christchurch Bay & Harbour Strategy.

Following feedback from the fourth phase of engagement in December 2022, each of the short-listed options were appraised to assess their economic, technical, environmental and social viability. This consultation focuses on the proposed leading options identified for each of the 18 option development units across the coastal frontage (immediately east of Hengistbury Head Long Groyne to Hurst Spit, encompassing Christchurch Harbour).

 We’d like your views on these proposed leading options and invite you to:
